We do everything we can to ensure that the dog is healthy and you will be told about any previous illnesses/injuries that we know about. Most of our dogs are OK with cats in the rescue, but that doesn't mean that your cat will like them. When they arrive in their new home the resident cat may run and the dog is likely to chase them. Again, it is up to the adopter to manage the situation.
Now in paid kennels where she can play with 2 children aged 7 and 9. Bella lived inside with the plan to be part of the family but unfortunetly the resident 14 years old GSD has a dislike for her and upset to have Bella around. Good with any other dog no matter of sex ,age or size. She grew up in a busy home with lots of adults and children. Playful and quite confident when meeting strangers. At Last Chance Rescue Romania, we are a small team of volunteers dedicated to helping Romanian dogs. Monika rescues dogs from the streets and fields of Romania and we help them find a loving home and family in the UK. We are closing our applications until Tuesday 3rd January 2023. Christmas is a family time and not the time to introduce a new pet into the home.
This beautiful girl is one of a litter of 3 puppies who were dumped in a box on the side of the road. Maya was abandoned when pregnent and she gave birth to her puppies in a field. Pumpkin grew up in the streets,she is confident, used to people. Chance was found abandoned with his siblings in a forest. Lilla appeared in the streets with 2 puppies and was so fearful she couldn t be approached.

Her dogs live in a house, they all get on with each other and they are able to live happy lives. There are many more dogs and owners that could benefit from her support. This is quite an unusual request for help but Caroline has a history of many years rescuing and training large breed dogs in Ireland. What made them different was they were ‘last chance’ dogs who were deemed to be too difficult to help and needed to be put to sleep. With Caroline the dogs were given their last chance and Caroline took them on and helped close to 100 dogs to become loving pets and companions for new homes. Shy around humans but loves attention after knowing the person.

With careful introductions she can live with another friendly dog. She was cat tested last month in Romania and passed so could live with a cat after careful introductions. Blood tested, vaccinated against rabies, kennel cough and all the usual vaccinations that UK dogs get to the same high standard. The majority of the dogs we rescue are not breeds, but street dogs.

He has had a vet check and it’s all neurological and he isn’t in any pain. Jimmy needs a home with no other dogs due to disliking them, he is such a loving boy with lots of love to give. Jimmy legs don’t affect his toileting nor his love for his long walks. Juliette, is a very playful girl who needs an active family home and further training and socialising. She seems ok with dogs, and possibly older children too.

She likes her toys and will carry them to her bed and lay on them. Whippy loves her owners and will stand up for a cuddle and cling on to your arm for attention. In the home Whippy can be very lazy in between walks and loves a big bed to lounge on.
